Joshua is a 2nd year Economics student from Singapore. His role is to manage the different aspects of the conference to ensure they all work together as one cohesive unit to deliver a successful experience, while allowing individuals to shine in their own workspace. He sees the conference as a valuable opportunity to challenge one's cultural perspectives by meeting people from other SEA regions.

Byte is a 2nd year GSD and Business student from Thailand. His role involves leading the team in sourcing, selecting, and securing the participation of a diverse profile of speakers for WAC 2020. He’s interested in exploring issues surrounding sustainability, including climate change, energy security, and wealth inequality. Some people consider his passion for football is on a par with religious devotion.
Putthachat (Gla) is a 2nd year chemist from Thailand. Liaising with ASEAN embassies in London is his main job. Also, he’s kind of a representative of the conference to make the collaboration between embassy people and the WAC go smoothly. He loves reviewing airlines he has flown. You might often see the posts on his Facebook (and sometimes a video on YouTube!).

Born and raised in Cambodia, Daravuth is currently a postgraduate student pursuing an MA in Public Policy at Warwick. His role revolves around contacting speakers for the conference. Despite his slow progress towards maturity, Daravuth always enjoy a healthy coffee conversation on controversial Netflix series, Naruto, Southeast Asian cuisines, and dystopian novels. He spends most of his free time travelling to distant areas to discover its known and unknown histories.

Richard/Ricky is a 3rd year PPE student from Malaysia. His role involves creating conference content, sourcing speakers and managing speakers’ logistics. He is interested in the energy sector and has consulted both established corporations and start-ups within the industry. He is currently adjusting to the life of a responsible adulthood and therefore spends most of his time meal-prepping, exploring health products and doing chores.

Better known as Euan, Chiean Tien is a 1st year Economics student from Malaysia. He is passionate about community outreach efforts and often involves himself with charity work back home. Euan also loves budget travelling, which may be why you hardly see him during the weekends. He aspires to share the beauty of the places he visited through photographs and thus, updating his Instagram (@euanthum) with aesthetic feeds became a priority.
Gloria is a 2nd year PAIS student from Vietnam. Outside of all the work and readings for politics, Gloria loves chill evenings with her friends, probably with some cocktails to finish up the night. She is also a meditation lover and poet wannabe.

His main responsibilities are centered on planning and executing the operational aspects of all WAC 2020 events building up to, and including the main conference. The epitome of restlessness, Cheong Kiat can regularly be found making making plans to escape from Coventry so if you ever are looking for an itinerary for a short getaway, be sure to hit him up.
Nadya is a 2nd year EPAIS student from Singapore. Her role involves working with the operations team to ensure the smooth running of events. She is up for any adventure you throw at her, be it climbing the 3 highest peaks in the UK within 72 hours or swimming with dolphins in the country Down Under.

As a member of the operations team, he helps the team plan and oversee facility management, ensuring the smooth running of the conference, providing his manpower where necessary and sarcastic jokes where possible. In his freetime, he enjoys the simple things in life such as, football with the boys, going out with the boys and also, travelling the world.

Just like how penguins hang out in colonies, Si Qi enjoys the company of her friends and is always open to reach out to people from different walks of life. Ply is a 1st year Management student from Thailand. He specialises on managing the internal structure of WAC with his team to make sure the events run in the best possible way. If you are looking for someone who is responsible, good looking, polite, bright, broad-minded, charming, communicative, decisive, easy going, generous, hard working, helpful, honest, considerate, efficient, deligent, organised , proactive and competent do think of him first.
Ying Xuan, or Xuanie, is a 1st year Law student from Malaysia. She possesses the ability to literally chat your ears off, especially if you rope her into conversations about her interests. Contrary to what this may indicate, Xuanie is perpetually stuck at the 'dangerously low' side of the energy spectrum, and loves to sleep in her free time; she could literally fall asleep anywhere. If she's not at classes or events, you'll likely find her in the kitchen.

Sunny is a 1st year law student from Hong Kong. He is just a typical boy who dreams big. He believes the universe is built by stories but not atoms. He is also passionate about coffee (only black coffee). You can expect a three hour lecture from him talking about the beans!
Ning is doing a Masters in Marketing and Strategy. She would apply what she has learned into everything she takes part in her role. She is motivated to try her best to make WAC2020 another event to remember for everyone! She loves to travel, take photos, and cook (besides cooking, eating is her favourite thing to do too).

Her role involves creating a marketing strategy, leading content creation, and finding media partners for WAC 2020.When she's free (which is so rare it's a worthy cause for celebration), you can find her with a glass of wine, trying to convince you to subscribe to maddening ideas. Her role involves proposing pitches on the Facebook writer's group, writing articles that are published on the WAC website, and promoting content on social media. In her spare time she writes for The Boar, Warwick Globus, Perspectives Magazine, as well as for her own blog - along with debating current affairs with her three year old baby brother, of course!
Benedict is a PAIS postgraduate (Masters) from Singapore, and is a member of the Publications team. He loves travelling, and stumbling upon tasty, local fare brings him serendipitous joy. Or is it his desire for scrumptious delicacies that compel him to travel? He screams, for he does not know.
Iffah is a 2nd year Psychology student from Singapore. She has a passion for video editing, design, marketing and cats! De-stressing for her involves exercising, spending time with friends and making sure the house always smells like freshly baked cookies.
