• The Oculus is the £19m flagship teaching and learning building of the University of Warwick, constructed in a key position on the central campus. There are two large, state-of-the-art, tiered lecture theatres, 12 other top quality, flexible teaching spaces, study areas and a café. Along with teaching, academic and student-run events will be the priority here.

  • Travelling by Bus

    Regular services run between Coventry, Leamington and Kenilworth (including train stations) to the University of Warwick and will drop you right outside the Arts Centre, which is approximately just a 3 minute walk away from the Oculus building. If you are travelling by coach and will be arriving at Pool Meadow bus station (Coventry), just catch any No. 12x (towards University of Warwick) or No. 11 (towards Leamington Spa) bus services. We recommend getting the Day Ticket (£4) or Group Day Ticket (£8). Find out more about the routes here.

    Travelling by Train

    The nearest mainline station is Coventry. From Coventry station you can catch either catch the No. 12x (towards University of Warwick) or No. 11 (towards Leamington Spa) bus services, which takes approximately 15 minutes, or a taxi.   • – Dress code for the day: Formal Attire (Males: Suit and Tie, Females: Conservative and modest attire, blazer not compulsory)

    – Alternatively, you may turn up in your National Costume (Batik, Ao dai, Sampot, Kebaya, Barong, Baju Kurung, Salong, Longyi, Cheongsam, Saree etc allowed)

    – Registration starts at 8.30am, and the conference will officially commence at 9.30am sharp
